About us

Inspection & Consultancy Services Ltd started life in 2002 primarily as a company specializing as inspections within the coatings industry, with a big focus on the transmission tower refurbishment projects.

A lot has changed and evolved since then, and we do so much more than just inspect paint.

While still focussing significantly on the high voltage electricity sector, we not only carry out inspections and consultancy for transmission tower painting projects, but we also do the same in substations for gantries, transformers and buildings, as well as project managing minor maintenance repairs through to medium-sized construction projects.

We also still carry out 3rd party inspections for coatings of all types on almost anything that has a coating that can be applied (including paints, HDG, concrete, intumescent coatings, automotive, residential, commercial, construction, quarries, ships, bridges, agricultural, . . . . ).

We have NACE Level 3 / AMPP Senior Certified Coating Inspector, NACE Level 2 / AMPP Certified Coating Inspector, and NACE Level 1 / Basic Coating Inspectors, in our team, all with various specialties.

We also have inspectors with ACA Coatings Selection & Specification Certificate, NZTA-approved bridge inspection certificates, qualified trainer and assessor, Confined Space & Working At Height capabilities.

We also have a Qualified NZQA Level 4 Adult Trainer, and options available for training venue for up to 6 attendees.

Inspection & Consultancy Services Ltd have worked extensively throughout New Zealand, and also Australia, Fiji, China, Solomon Islands, and anywhere else where work may take us.
