We have a Takeuchi TB016 (1.6 tonne) mini excavator available for hire.
Excavator has dedicated earth plates fitted for use in HV situations where temporary portable earths are required (e.g. in substations or under HV power lines).
Currently three digger attachments with wide scraper bucket, digger bucket and spade attachment. (more attachments to come soon).
Excavator is available for dry hire to anyone who can verify they have suitable competency experience with using a digger/excavator, or hired with an operator.
The excavator is hired with a purpose-built trailer, and needs 2,500kg tow rating capacity of the tow vehicle.
We can deliver the excavator to site, or we also have a small double cab tipper truck that can be hired with a 2,500kg tow bar.
the truck can be driven on a car licence when empty or with a relevant load, however will need a minimum of Class 2 licence when towing the excavator.
